Zhgia is a rare Kakhetian vine species that has survived in the region. Ghvardzelashvili’s Marani possesses enough Zhgia to produce dozens of bottles of wine. This is the first time Zhgia wine has been introduced to the market. Kondoli village is home to a 49-year-old vine. The wine is made from natural yeast and contains no chemical additives. For vine care, bio-pesticides are used. The wine has a coral color due to slight oxidation. The wine tastes like sweet dried fruits, is thin and light in color, and is very pleasant and elegant.
